Run With Ryan

If you've ever wondered just how fast a professional marathoner really runs, have a look at this video. For the ING New York City Marathon, ASICS challenged people to race against U.S. marathon runner Ryan Hall on a gigantic, twenty meter long video wall installed in a New York subway station. The Race This Ad installation received a lot of attention over the marathon weekend, but few people could keep up with Hall's awesome pace of 4:46 min/mile, or 2:27 min/km.
For comparison, Stephen Kiprotich of Uganda that won the Olympic marathon ran a 4:54 min/mile.
