This marks the second time my friends and I have made turducken... once using Chef Paul Prudhomme's recipe and this year with Paula Deen's. While Chef Paul's version was much tastier, I would give a slight edge to Paula Deen's since it took about 1/4 of the time to prepare (mostly because it did not require us to make 3 different types of dressing).

Normally I'm weary of any food event that ends in "a-licious" but Fall was definitely in the air last weekend and an event with nothing but soups sounded pretty good and I ended up having a fantastic time at Soup-a-licious!Each sample was perfect for 2 people to get a taste, and for at a price of only $1 each (10 samples were included in the ticket price) we got to try almost 30 different types
